ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join its growing clinical team. The role offers the opportunity to provide specialist neurological care within a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will assess and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions and work closely with neurosurgeons, radiologists, intensivists and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide consultant-level diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuropathies and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Interpret and correlate neurological investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG and EMG/nerve conduction studies where applicable.
• Provide emergency neurological consultation and support acute stroke management.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust management plans according to clinical needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex patient cases.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Neurologists holding recognised qualifications such as:
• American Board of Neurology
• UK CCT / MRCP(UK) with recognised specialist training
• European Board / European specialist qualification in Neurology
• Royal College Certification, Canada
• FRACP / recognised Australian specialist qualification
• Arab Board
• MD / DNB / DM / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
